![]() ![]() She-Hulk: Attorney at Lawdrops new episodes every Thursday on Disney Plus. But there's always plenty of wiggle room for changes in the MCU. It's almost saddening to think of how it might happen, though, since the comic version of the arc has Hulk seeking revenge on his former allies after being abandoned on another planet. It's interesting that he would bring that up since he recently said that he's ready for World War Hulk if the studio wants to tackle that storyline. That's the exciting part - I've played five different versions from beginning to now, and that's kept it interesting for me and I hope interesting for other people." I almost see him going back to 'Berserker Hulk' or 'World War Hulk'. "Five years from now it could totally morph into anything, whatever's pertinent at the time. "The cool thing about this world is that it could just be anything," he continued. The role itself has changed plenty even since Ruffalo took over, and he knows it. Ruffalo moved from romantic comedies to action in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it wouldn't be that out of the ordinary to see such a beloved young actor follow suit. The scary part is, that it's not even that farfetched to think of Chalamet playing The Hulk. People will be like, 'Remember when the Hulk used to look like Mark Ruffalo? Now it looks like Timothée Chalamet.'" That's certainly a pragmatic way to look at things. ![]() ![]() Everyone's going to get a shot at it.' And there'll probably be another couple before it's all over. I was like, 'It's like our generation's Hamlet. It's just the reality that we all are often dancing around, but it's true," Ruffalo said to EW, before suggesting that Norton seemed fine with it too. It might be a bit subtle, especially for those not familiar with Norton's film, but it was definitely intentional, and Ruffalo was a big fan. "That fight was so many years ago, I'm a completely different person now - literally," Bruce says before Jennifer looks directly at the camera and laughs. RELATED: How She-Hulk Takes The Audience Back To The Avengers MeetingĮpisode 2 of She-Hulk saw Bruce and Jennifer discussing Bruce's past as Jennifer decides whether to represent his old nemesis Tim Roth's The Abomination as a client. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actor had some approving words for the decision to finally joke about the "elephant in the room." Turns out She-Hulk star Ruffalo himself was a big fan of this hilarious moment. It even went as far as to almost directly reference how Bruce Banner/The Hulk used to be played by Edward Norton in 2008's The Incredible Hulk before Mark Ruffalo took over in 2012's The Avengers. ![]() But one particular joke got a little more clever than that in She-Hulk episode 2. So when the first 2 episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law prominently featured lead character and crack lawyer Jennifer Walters speaking directly into the camera, it should have been no surprise that the Disney Plus series became an instant hit. It's clear, then, that the relationship between the actor and the studio ended badly. The following contains spoilers for episode 2 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.If there's one thing Deadpool taught Marvel, it's that audiences will absolutely show up for 4th-wall-breaking meta humor. " Mr Norton's talent, tireless work ethic and professional integrity deserve more respect, and so do Marvel's fans." He returned to the Banner/Hulk role frequently in such Marvel movies as Iron Man 3 (2013), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers. " Feige's statement is unprofessional, disingenuous and clearly defamatory. "Counter to what Kevin implies here, Edward was looking forward to the opportunity to work with Joss and the other actors in 'The Avengers' cast, many of whom are personal friends of his," that statement said. The actor didn't take kindly to the comments, and his agent released a counter-statement. "We are looking to announce a name actor who fulfils these requirements, and is passionate about the iconic role in the coming weeks." The film marks the only occasion Edward Norton played the character. "'The Avengers' demands players who thrive working as part of an ensemble, as evidenced by Robert, Chris H, Chris E, Sam, Scarlett, and all of our talented casts. The Incredible Hulk will join the legions of pre-MCU Marvel films streaming on Disney+ this week. "The decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members," he said. 2 days ago &0183 &32 Notably, the last episode of She-Hulk introduced us to Hulk’s son, Skaar, played by Wil Deusner. Yet many aspects of eruptions are actually controlled by magma chemistry. Volcanic eruptions are inherently physical processes given that they are the emission of gas, magma, and rock from within the Earth. Magma typically begins to crystallize while they are being stored in magma chambers, forming a liquid-crystal mush.Įruptions from a shallow magma body may be triggered by injection of more magma into the chamber, by overpressure from increased volatile (gas) content, or by some other factor. Shallow magma chambers may form in regions of neutral buoyancy, i.e., areas where the pressure within the magma body equals the pressure outside it. Sometimes it pools at the base of the crust, and other times it continues to rise to form magma chambers. It moves in slow-moving balloons or diapirs or in planar fractures (dikes). Once magma is generated, it rises buoyantly because it is lighter than the surrounding rock. The heat that causes the partial melting comes from several sources most importantly, from decay of radioactive elements, such as uranium, thorium, and potassium. Instead, magma produced from partial melting of the upper mantle. There are also no permanent pools of melted rock found within the crust or mantle. The melted rock (magma) that is erupted in volcanoes does not come from the Earth’s core or even from deep within the mantle. Whether active or ancient, volcanic landforms found in national parks result from their eruption dynamics, with the volcanoes themselves and the lava flows and other deposits they leave behind serving as tangible evidence of the volcanic processes that formed them. The Valdez Caldera erupted 1.25 million years ago.Capulin Volcano erupted just over 54,000 years ago.Mount Mazama exploded about 7,550 years ago to form Crater Lake.Today, these mountains evoke peace and serenity that belies the violence in their history. Volcanoes in many other parks erupted in the even more distant past. The most recent eruption at the Lassen volcanic center in California occurred in 1917.Ī number of other national parks contain volcanoes that have had prehistoric eruptions. ![]() Katmai National Park and Preserve in Alaska is one of the world’s most active volcanic areas with 10 volcanoes that have had historic eruptions.Kilauea in Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park was active from 1983 to 2018, and has had shorter periods of eruption since then.National parks are great places to observe current volcanic activity. A magma’s composition, viscosity, and gas content, the eruption rate, and the size of the magma reservoir determines many aspects of eruptions, including how explosive they are. Some volcanic eruptions consist of mostly gas emissions, others are relatively quiet discharges of fluid lava, and yet others are cataclysmic explosions.ĭifferent kinds of eruptions leave characteristic deposits that, in turn, build different types of volcanoes. Illustration of the basic process of magma formation, movement to the surface, and eruption through a volcanic vent. The place to begin an exploration of the diversity of the different types and kinds of volcanic eruptions is with the definition.Ī volcanic eruption is the expulsion of gases, rock fragments, and/or molten lava from within the Earth through a vent onto the Earth’s surface or into the atmosphere. While a great range in the type, style, and violence of volcanic eruptions exists, they all are part of one of the most fundamental geologic processes that builds and shapes Earth’s crust. Or they may consist of terrifying explosions that send clouds of scorching hot ash high into the atmosphere or roaring down a volcano’s slopes and destroying everything in its path. They may be strangely beautiful as fountains of glowing-red lava rise above a vent to feed a lava flow that spreads rapidly downhill. Volcanic eruptions are among the most awesome of all natural phenomena on Earth. William Holmes Spaulding Photograph Collection: Photographic postcard of Lassen Peak in eruption. It’s moments like these, where the combined efforts of multiple characters have been carefully timed and your constructions are finely tuned, that Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead shines. ![]() You’ll often have multiple characters doing different things at the same time or, more likely, at carefully staggered times to enable what can only be described as a comedy of successes. Each character has particular abilities, such as Daryl being able to shoot his crossbow, and this offers yet more opportunities for challenging puzzles. The group mechanics are particularly interesting. Where BCTWD differs from the series’ norm, however, is that you have a small group of characters to guide through the levels, and the walkers that are everywhere. Scheme also matters here a bit, too, as San Francisco’s wide-9 alignment, despite its benefits, has subjected Bosa to many a chip block by tight ends and wide receivers, which are far less common in more traditional defensive alignments for 4-3 defensive ends.Įven with the 49ers’ stockpiling of extra defensive ends like Jackson, Bosa isn’t going to automatically find himself going up against weak blockers on a snap-by-snap basis. The only point you need to understand here is that it’s a rare feat. And since the minimum a player can achieve in this stat category is half a sack at any one time, it’s fair to argue Bosa would need to record at least two sacks every other game while registering one in the offsetting games. To achieve this feat, Bosa would have to average 1.35 sacks per game. ![]() Getting north of 20 sacks in a single year is an awfully tough business, and only 13 players in NFL history have been credited with having done so. Why Nick Bosa can’t quite reach single-season sack record That snub from the All-Pro list has to serve as motivation, too. Staring straight into the likelihood of a hefty contract extension and either wanting to play for it, if it’s not granted between now and Week 1, or justifying it if it’s received, Bosa has no shortage of motivation. On top of that, the Niners did right by Bosa and used their top pick of the 2022 NFL Draft on another pass-rusher, former USC EDGE Drake Jackson, who if he progresses as planned, will take a lot of pressure off the former, freeing up Bosa for more favorable opportunities and making him less a focus of other teams’ blocking schemes. This suggests, especially amid a more pass-happy league nowadays, that the goal of 23 sacks is certainly reachable, particularly with one more regular-season game now in the mix. Of note, at least since sacks became an official stat in 1982, New York Giants Hall of Famer Michael Strahan set the mark with 22.5 back in 2001, and he held that distinction alone before Pittsburgh Steelers EDGE T.J. But for Bosa, him putting a full year between himself and that 2020 ACL tear had to be a great thing, and he responded about as well as anyone could have asked last season with those 15.5 sacks. There’s always the cliche of a player “being in the best shape of his life” during any offseason program. Why Nick Bosa sets single-season sack record Let’s take a look at why he does it this season, as well as admit why it’s too lofty a goal. Bosa should have a loftier goal in mind for 2022: setting a brand-new single-season sack record. 2 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and that subsequently led to EDGE Nick Bosa, who subsequently turned into one of the NFL’s elite pass-rushers.īosa came on exceptionally strong a year after tearing his ACL in 2020, setting a career-high with 15.5 sacks and a league-best 21 tackles for a loss, yet somehow he was snubbed by the Associated Press for an All-Pro nomination despite those numbers and reaching his second Pro Bowl in three years.įorget all that, though. Well, luck is a part of it, as all that went wrong in 2018 ultimately led to the No. It would take a lot of things going the right way for 49ers EDGE Nick Bosa, but him breaking the single-season sack record in 2022 isn’t out of the question. ![]() ![]() ![]() Motorists are encouraged to check and the weather forecast before driving through the canyon."There are several other drainages within the canyon that have not run.
